DESARROLLO DE UNA CELDA DE COMBUSTIBLE TIPO PEM ALIMENTADA CON OXÍGENO DEL AIRE E HIDRÓGENO PARCIALMENTE PURIFICADO
Abstract
In this work the design of a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) fed with oxygen from air and a mix of hydrogen and carbon monoxide is presented. With this aim, the use of nanostructured core/shell type electrocatalysts supported in carbon Vulcan XC-72R is proposed, where the core is a noblemetal (Au) while the shell is Pt.
Keywords: PEM fuel cell, nanostructured catalyst, poisoned hydrogen.
