Determination of relaxation times T1 and T2 in sugarcane solutions
Abstract
In this paper, magnetic relaxation was used to determine the relaxation times T1 and T2 in sugarcane samples; in these circumstances it is simpler and less expensive. This tool provides information on the dynamic processes; besides it can be used in the teaching / learning of physics. Through equipment Giroimag 04 belonging to the institution, the maturation of sugarcane was assessed; the importance of the reproduction of characteristic signals in the process of measuring relaxation times was showed. The results present values of 5 % systematic error and a range of 3-9 % random error in the measurement.
