Inserciones conservadas en secuencias de proteínas para estudios moleculares en el género Rhodomicrobium

El género Rhodomicrobium comprende especies importantes para la agricultura y el medio ambiente. Sin embargo, pocas investigaciones se han dirigido a la identificación de marcadores moleculares que distingan a sus miembros de otros grupos de bacterias. Los marcadores Indeles (inserciones y deleciones) en secuencias de proteínas son útiles para estudios evolutivos y taxonómicos en bacterias. Se analizaron secuencias homólogas de las proteínas ADN ligasa NAD+ dependiente, y Serina ARNt sintetasa, obtenidas de la base de datos UniprotKB/Swiss-Prot, y posteriormente alineadas con el programa MUSCLE. El análisis filogenómico se realizó por el método de Máxima Verosimilitud con el programa RAxML. Se identificaron inserciones que soportan la monofilia del género y confirman que Rhodomicrobium lacus es un grupo hermano de R. vannielii y R. udaipurense. Las inserciones analizadas constituyen marcadores moleculares importantes para estudios taxonómicos y evolutivos en el género Rhodomicrobium, y para futuros estudios bioquímicos o funcionales en dichas enzimas.
