Caracterización y propiedades térmicas de películas de quitosana preparadas con diferentes disolventes ácidos
Abstract
Se evaluó el efecto de varios ácidos en las propiedades térmicas de películas de quitosana. Se prepararon películas de 100 μm de grosor a partir de sus disoluciones en diferentes ácidos: acético, cítrico, láctico, maleico, tartárico, clorhídrico y nítrico. Las películas fueron analizadas por espectroscopía infrarroja, difracción de rayos-X y análisis térmico. Estas resultaron transparentes y flexibles y menos cristalinas que la quitosana original. La naturaleza del ácido influyó sobre las interacciones intra- e intermoleculares en las películas, lo que se refleja en el corrimiento hacia mayores frecuencias de las bandas a 2 942–2 784 cm-1y hacia menores frecuencias de aquellas a 1 650, 1 590, 1 420 y 1 376 cm-1 en los espectros. La estabilidad térmica de las películas fue inferior a la de la quitosana, y cada ácido tuvo una influencia diferente. Se concluyó que la selección del ácido para preparar las películas de quitosana es importante para determinar sus propiedades.
