Producción simultánea de ramnolípidos y polihidroxialcanoatos por Pseudomonas aeruginosa ORA9

En este trabajo se estudió la cinética de la producción simultánea de ramnolípidos y polihidroxialcanoatos a partir de Pseudomonas aeruginosa ORA9. Se determinaron los parámetros cinéticos, velocidad específica de crecimiento celular (μx), velocidad volumétrica (rp) y específica de formación de producto (qP), y el rendimiento del producto respeto a la biomasa formada (YP/X). Los resultados mostraron que la producción de polihidroxialcanoatos tuvo una acumulación máxima de 22 % (1,14 g L-1) en la biomasa, durante la fase exponencial del crecimiento microbiano. Por el contrario, el mayor rendimiento de ramnolípidos se logra al finalizar el cultivo (YP/X = 1,024) con un incremento de las variables cinéticas evaluadas a partir de las 18 h, coincidiendo con el inicio de la fase estacionaria del crecimiento microbiano. Se comprobó que, en las condiciones ensayadas, el tiempo de cultivo es un factor importante que debe optimizarse para obtener concentraciones adecuadas de ambos productos.
