Abstract

Novel thiosemicarbazones (4a-c) have been synthesized by condensation reaction of 2-(4-arylamino)-1,2-diphenyl-1-ethanones (3a-c) with thiosemicarbazide. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and MS spectra. The geometries were determined at the
Hartree-Fock level of theory employing 6-31G(d,p) basis set.
