Studies of Viscosities of Dilute Solutions of LiClO 4 in Non-Electrolyte Solvents at 298,15 K
Abstract
Viscosities η, of dilute solutions of LiClO4 in two aprotic solvents: N, N dimethylformamide and acetonitrile at 298,15 K have been measured. The viscosity data were analyzed using the Jones-Dole equation, and the derived parameters A and B were interpreted in terms of solute-solute and solute-solvent interactions, respectively. The free energies of viscous flow for the solutions were also calculated and explained in terms of transition state theory.Key words: density, viscosity B-coefficient, lithium perchlorates, aprotic solvent.
