ESTUDIO TERMODINÁMICO DE LA ADSORCIÓN DE AMONIACO EN CENIZA DE BAGAZO DE CAÑA DE AZÚCAR
Abstract
Present study deals with the adsorption of ammonia by bagasse fly ash. Equilibrium isotherms for the adsorption of ammonia on bagasse fly ash were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich, Langmuir- Freundlich, Compound, BET, Dubinin-Raduskevich isotherm models using linear regression technique. Dubinin-Raduskevich isotherm was found to best represent the data for ammonia adsorption on bagassefly ash. The corresponding affinity coefficient b was 1 · 10-11. The value of characteristic energy of the system was 6,17 kJ/mol. The limiting amounts of ammonia adsorbed by the solid correspond to a monolayer was 19,9 mg/g.
